Pre-Primary Education
Grace Harvest Academy has adopted the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). We offer education at pre-primary (Play Group, PP1 and PP2) and primary school level (Lower Primary Grades 1–3; Upper Primary Grades 4–6).
🆕 Play Group
We offer quality beginners classes for children aged 3 years. Pupils engage in singing, games, painting and coloring. We aim to enhance psychomotor and fine skills, communication, collaboration and basic literacy skills like sounds and number work. The child learns through play.
📚 Pre-Primary 1 (PP1)
Tailored for children aged 4 years. Learning areas include language and mathematical activities, Environmental activities, psychomotor and creative activity, and religious and moral education. Our teachers ensure quality assessment in readiness for Grade 1.
📚 Pre-Primary 2 (PP2)
Tailored for children aged 5 years. Same learning areas as PP1 with increased depth. Our teachers provide quality assessment in readiness to transition smoothly to Grade 1.
Primary School Education
✍️ Lower Primary (Grade 1–3)
We offer lower primary education from Grade 1 to Grade 3 for pupils aged 6, 7 and 8 years. We emphasize literacy skills — reading, writing, and language proficiency. Learning areas include:
- Language activities (Kiswahili and English)
- Mathematical activities
- Environmental, Hygiene and Nutrition
- Creative arts
- Religious education
🏫 Upper Primary (Grade 4–6)
Grade 4, 5 and 6. Learners apply literacy, numeracy and logical thinking skills. Well molded in social, spiritual and moral values. Key features:
- Digital literacy skills for communication and learning
- French as a foreign language
- Broad curriculum with exploration and experimentation
- Co-curricular activities and leadership development
🏅 The 8-4-4 Legacy
Our school has been offering the 8-4-4 curriculum which is now being phased out. We are proud to say that we are among the best performers in Kangemi. Grace Harvest has produced some of the best KCPE candidates in the country.
